About 130 Torontonians visited the Port Lands Consultation open house on November 14, 2015

This Past Saturday, More Than 130 People Visited An Open House To Learn More About The Emerging Plans For The Port Lands.

POSTED: NOVEMBER 16, 2015

The Port Lands project team provides a brief update.

A great deal of information was shared at the open house this past Saturday – both through information sessions as well as through individual conversations with members of the project team at display boards. The consultation is not done yet though! Now that we’ve shared all of our information with you, there are two workshops this week where you can pose questions and provide feedback.

Community members had an opportunity to ask questions of project experts.

Workshop #1 - Placemaking in the Port Lands
November 17, 2015 from 6:30-9:00 pm at Morse Street Junior Public School, 180 Carlaw Avenue

Workshop #2 – Connecting the Port Lands + South of Eastern Areas
November 18, 2015 from 6:30-9:00 pm at the Toronto Fire Academy (EMS Training Centre), 895 Eastern Avenue

For those who missed the open house or who are unable to attend the workshops this week, you can still participate online.

Check out video recordings from the open house for each presentation, the presentation slides, information panels and the general discussion guide. Also provided are links to the online surveys for each of the topic areas: Vision and Urban Structure, Character and Place, Villiers Island Precinct Plan and Transportation and Servicing.
Display boards were organized into four thematic areas.
