Lower Yonge Precinct Planning
Waterfront Toronto and the City of Toronto have completed two studies which create the foundation for the Lower Yonge Precinct Plan: an Urban Design Report and a Transportation Master Plan Environmental (Phases 1 and 2).
Constructing Queens Quay
Queens Quay has been rebuilt and revitalized both above and below ground.
Construction of Queens Quay - Toronto's waterfront boulevard - was completed and the street officially opened on June 19, 2015. After three years of construction, the transformation of Queens Quay completely rebuilt and revitalized Queens Quay both above and below ground.
Queens Quay Environmental Assessment
A truly great waterfront begins with the transformation of Queens Quay, the waterfront’s main street. As the connecting spine for the waterfront, it spans 3.5 kilometres from Bathurst to Parliament streets.
Queens Quay (West)
Queens Quay, which runs east-west parallel to the lakefront, is the waterfront’s main street. It spans more than 3 kilometres from Bathurst Street in the central waterfront to Parliament Street in East Bayfront, the new waterfront neighbourhood currently being developed by Waterfront Toronto. In the central waterfront, we have transformed Queens Quay into one of the world’s most beautiful waterfront boulevards.
