Be among the first to explore Biidaasige Park on Ookwemin Minising (formerly Villiers Island)—Toronto’s newest island born from one of the world’s most ambitious flood protection projects. This new 60-acre park offers green spaces, a vibrant playground, off-leash dog areas, and access to a revitalized Don River for paddling and exploration.
Enjoy free family-friendly activities all weekend long: arts and crafts, storytelling, live music, games, and more.
Getting there:
TTC routes 114, 72, and 504A provide easy access. Two free shuttles will run from Nathan Phillips Square (9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.). Cycling, walking, and ride share encouraged. Limited parking available.
More information is available on the City of Toronto's event page.
