Notice of Upcoming Pre-Construction Investigative Works Starting July 9 at 5:00 PM to July 10 at 5:00 AM
Please be advised that the construction manager for the Broadview and Eastern Flood Protection project, PCL has scheduled pre-construction investigative works for July 9, 2026, between 5:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.
This work will consist of the investigation of the west wall of the existing storm shaft located near East Don Roadway and Baseball Place in the western most location, north of the Eastern Avenue Bridge. This work is necessary to take place during these hours to avoid conflicts with ongoing work in this area with other project contractors.
The highest noise levels are anticipated to occur between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Noise generated during the operation will primarily consist of vacuum truck engine noise and truck backup alarms while excavation activities are underway. There will be no traffic impacts associated with this work.
