Beginning evening on Sunday, September 13 through the morning of Friday, September 18, Eastern Construction will be carrying out overnight infrastructure work at the intersection of Small Street and Lake Shore Boulevard East as part of the Quayside Infrastructure and Public Realm project. Work will take place between 11 pm and 5 am each night to complete final service connections in the area for the future Quayside development.

The planned work includes removing existing asphalt, excavation, installing underground services and associated infrastructure, and backfilling and restoring the site at the end of each evening (11pm–5am) for daytime traffic.

Construction activities will result in temporary traffic restrictions in the area. A flagman will be on site at all times to support pedestrians with crossing Small Street as sidewalk access may be temporarily restricted. Nearby residents and businesses may also experience some noise and dust associated with overnight construction activities. Every effort will be made to minimize impacts on the surrounding community and complete the work as efficiently and safely as possible.  Thank you for your patience as we complete this necessary work to support the future Quayside community.
