Traffic Notice

 

One Night Closure of Eastern Avenue/Adelaide Street to Broadview Avenue Beginning December 8 at 10:00 pm 

 

Beginning Monday, December 8 at 10:00 p.m., PCL construction crews will implement a traffic shift to return Eastern Avenue/Adelaide Street to its previous configuration: two westbound lanes and two eastbound lanes, narrowing to two westbound lanes and one eastbound lane approaching Broadview Avenue. 

 

To complete this transition, crews will be conducting line painting and relocating traffic barriers, which requires a full closure. As a result, Eastern Avenue/Adelaide Street will be closed from Parliament Street to Broadview Avenue, and access to the Don Valley Parkway will be restricted during this work. 

 

The closure is expected to remain in place until Tuesday, December 9 at 5:00 a.m., at which point the roadway will reopen and Soncin Construction Management will resume control of traffic operations on Eastern Avenue under the City of Toronto’s Eastern/Adelaide Bridge Rehabilitation project.
