quayside

The Quayside project is an exploration of what an innovative community by the lake can be. Join us as we explore the potential to create precedent-setting standards for building affordable, sustainable, inclusive, and prosperous communities.
Quayside is a 4.9-hectare (12-acre) parcel of land at the confluence of emerging neighbourhoods in the West Don Lands, East Bayfront, and the Port Lands. Since our inception, we have made progress transforming the waterfront with our forward-looking vision for new neighbourhoods. Looking at Quayside as our next development project, we saw an opportunity to advance our ambitious sustainability and innovation mandates, and to create a community that could transform how we approach urban development. After a competitive Request for Proposal process, Waterfront Toronto announced the selection of Sidewalk Labs as the successful Innovation and Funding Partner to help think through tough urban challenges and create a strong and compelling vision for Quayside.
