Waterfront Toronto Launches International Competition for Quayside Development Partner

Waterfront Toronto today launched an international competition to secure a development partner for the Quayside lands. The first step in this effort is to issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to identify potential development proponents with the proven experience, design portfolio, financial resources, and shared vision necessary to bring Quayside to reality.

Waterfront Toronto Takes Action to Reconnect City to its Lake

Today, Waterfront Toronto announced its plan to develop the Parliament Slip into a waterfront destination where people can enjoy new access to the water.

The revitalization plan for Toronto’s waterfront is intended to position the city as a world leader in creating sustainable communities, with buildings and neighbourhoods that are among the greenest in the world. To do this, Waterfront Toronto applies mandatory performance standards – our Green Building Requirements – which are embedded in our proposal calls and enforced by contract with development partners.
