design review panel policies and procedures

The Waterfront Design Review Panel operates as an independent body that guides and informs the revitalization of Toronto’s waterfront.

The Waterfront Design Review Panel’s monthly meetings are open to the public, and its by-laws, policies and procedures are available for public review.

In April 2008, the Panel formally adopted a series of by-laws, policies and procedures to guide the review process. In addition to outlining the Panel’s background and mission, the resulting document also provides rigour regarding the:

  • composition of its membership
  • panel roles and responsibilities
  • review procedures and submission requirements
  • and conflict-of-interest procedures.
